I had stages of dream man while growing up, I mean..once I started having crushes, that’s when I began having the man of my dreams.
Elementary days- I dreamed of marrying a handsome and rich man. I guess, because we were so poor that I wanted to become rich.
High School days- since the group MENUDO was so popular those days, I was dreaming of marrying Robbie Rosa, one of the singers. I would watch their show during the night and scream silently, My dream man during those times was, handsome, singer and famous.
College days- It’s Richard Gomez popularity- so my dream man was “tall, dark and handsome” not bad eh?
Single Mom days- I guess, I matured a little, so I didn’t have anymore dream man. I just waited until I met someone that I think I like. Because I believed that when I met someone that can make my heart beats faster than sound and someone that will show compassion and care for me and my son, that’s when I would say, yup, “it’s him”..
When I met Rodney the first time, he wasn’t even my type, he’s too tall, too skinny and too white and mind you, he’s American, hehehe! I didn’t realize that we were going to end up being married with 3 kids . I just sort a thought he was so nice and from the day we started learning each other’s characters, that’s when I found out that, “dream man , or Mr. Right” never really exist. It’s how you accept and learn to love each other, flaw and all, that’s when you can say that “ oh yeah, this man is the right one for me”
Sometimes, you would ask a woman about her dream man and she would answer you this ”Ohhh..I want a romantic, thoughtful, passionate, intelligent, faithful, handsome, and super duper hunk” Wohooo..wait a minute.. Is there such thing as that kind of man?? I don’t think so.. Even the most handsome actor in Hollywood won’t have all these qualifications, wanna bet?
Once you found this man that will love you for who and what you are, who would put your life before theirs, who makes plan for the future with you in it? Then, I can say, go ahead and marry him. Not all men do this kind of thing, not all men are sweet and compassionate enough to show so much love, by rubbing your back, massaging your feet, putting vapor on your chest when you’re congested, put cough drops in your mouth when you’re coughing. I believe that I am one of those lucky women who has a great and wonderful husband who always thinks of how to satisfy his wife in any way he can 
Was I right, or was I Right??? (Honey, is your head getting big now? ) He’s sometimes pain in the butt, but.. I love him just the same. peace, Baby!
So, if you ask me if I married my dream man?? my answer to that is NO, I didn’t. But I married the man that made my DREAM come true. “ Having a wonderful married life and great family”

Naging crush mo rin pala si Goma? sabagay sino ba ang hindi…tall, dark, and handsome…May natupad naman sa akin…yung Tall…hehe..eh anhin naman natin ang gwapo kung gutom naman tayo at may blackeye sa mata. hehe. I believe heaven sent ang mga husbands natin marce Liz!

I agree with you mommy when you said that not all men will put their lives before theirs, I think it is just overwhelming when some of these man were just not good enough. We’re so lucky to have a man in our lives who will loved us unconditionally…
